Join us January 6th, 2026 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM for an informative virtual session brought to you by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association.


In this webinar, attendees will hear a 2026 issues briefing overview, learn about advocacy and communication strategies, do’s-and-don’t’s of General Assembly advocacy, and how to develop and maintain a lasting relationship with your representatives.

We'll prepare you to reach, connect, and leverage your state-level representatives and better pursue good policy for the restaurant, hotel/lodging, tourism, campground, and attractions industries.

If 2026 will be your first time joining the VRLTA Day on the Hill Legislative Meetings - this session will help prepare you for what's to come!


Join Tommy Herbert, VRLTA's Director of Government Affairs, for a primer on how best to get what you want from your elected officials.

Tommy is a veteran of multiple legislative offices as well as government affairs shops, so he understands the advocacy process from both sides of the desk.
