Change is the Only Constant: The 2026 Virginia Employment Law Landscape
Virginia's 2026 General Assembly Session enacted many new labor and employment laws with far-reaching implications. Employees have new rights and non-compliant employers face stiffer penalties.
Beyond Virginia, business owners also must understand and navigate significant changes to the rules and priorities of federal agencies tasked with enforcing federal labor and employment laws. Every Virginia employer must understand this new legal reality as this is truly a time of unprecedented changes.
In this webinar, we'll review topics covering the 2026 legislative updates (minimum wage changes, FMLA, Right to Work, and more), new rules for restrictive covenants, Federal agency updates, and clarification on definition of wages in Virginia.
