In this webinar, attendees will get a briefing on 2027 issues, learn advocacy and communication strategies, the do’s and don’ts of General Assembly advocacy, and how to build and maintain lasting relationships with your representatives.

We'll prepare you to reach, connect, and leverage your state-level representatives and better pursue good policy for the restaurant, hotel/lodging, tourism, campground, and attractions industries.

Join Tommy Herbert, VRLTA's Director of Government Affairs, for a primer on how best to get what you want from your elected officials. Tommy is a veteran of multiple legislative offices as well as government affairs shops, so he understands the advocacy process from both sides of the desk.
