KEYS 365: Knowledge & Empathy Yield Strength

KEYS 365 is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through free interactive suicide prevention education which inspires open conversations and strengthens meaningful community connections.

In this 60-minute interactive suicide prevention class we'll focus on early intervention. The class is designed to empower participants to support others who may be struggling. Learn to identify risk factors and warning signs, ask safely and directly about suicide, and refer individuals to appropriate resources.

The KEYS 365 class doesn't stop at the basics! The critical element of empathy is integrated into the suicide prevention framework. Learn recommended verbiage around mental health and suicide, and phrases that build connection. This class also covers the importance of personal resilience for the "helper person"; quick and easy stress-reducing exercises are demonstrated for participants to practice and share.

Some key takeaways you can expect from this webinar:

  • Understand common myths versus facts
  • Recognize risk factors and warning signs
  • Reduce stigma with recommended verbiage
  • Learn strategies for impactful conversations
  • Provide hope with starting-point resources
  • Foster resilience through stress-reducing tools
