We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Room Attendant to join our team at Home 2 Suites Virginia Beach Princess Anne location. Ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience and operational excellence.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to meet hygiene standards.
• Conduct floor care activities such as stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and carpet cleaning to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and other supplies in guest rooms and common areas to enhance guest comfort.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service is essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment as needed.
